TVC Responsibilities:
I help guide the women in Transformational Leadership Community (TLC) through their story work in a vulnerable, safe environment for healing to occur. I serve as a spiritual mentor by helping participants progress in knowledge of God and self. I cultivate relationships, trust, and momentum within the group.
When and how did the Lord save you?
My dad is a pastor, so I was at church every time the doors were open. I knew a lot about God and the Bible; however, I didn't become a believer until I was 18. One night, I was reading and began to have a lot of spiritual questions. I asked my dad to come into my room, and he talked through my questions with me. By the end of it, I believed the gospel and was saved.
When did you come to TVC and what brought you here?
I began attending TVC in 2003 because my college leader at another church took our group one Sunday. I don’t remember the exact “why,” but I knew this was where I was supposed to be.
If you had to give a TED Talk, what subject would you choose to speak on, and why?
